Children are an important part of our church family ! Children's Sunday School uses the Gather 'Round curriculum. Learn more Summer Sunday School is focused on creation. Using Genesis 1-2:3 (one account of creation in the Bible) as one text, we seek to discover other accounts of creation from different time periods and cultures, including our own scientifically informed understanding. We experience these different creation accounts through storytelling, drama, and pictures. We mix in a little gardening in our plot in Parkview's community garden and a little outdoor art. We hope to look at the question "Where did we come from?" with more nuance but not necessarily more understanding. For summer, all ages preschool-12th grade are together. Rally Day August 22 with special guests Wild Wings Environmental Education presenting Raptors of the Rockies. First part of program beginning at 10:00 for kids/youth only.
