Youth
Group for middle & high school youth is educational programs,
mission projects, community service, volunteering for CROP Walk,
Aurora Interchurch Task Force, Denver Rescue Mission, Urban Peak, and
a Bowl-a-Thon for Denver Inner City Parish.
BUT
MORE IMPORTANTLY, Parkview's Youth Group provides a safe place for
youth to explore who they are, a place to meet their friends and
peers, and a place to "hang out!" FUN activities are
planned each month by members of the group, including such things as
laser tag, Parade of Lights, lock-ins, ski trips and Camp LaForet.
Youth
and their sponsors meet weekly on Sundays at 6:30 p.m. in the
Mushroom, unless the activity planned requires an alternate time and
location. Check the schedule on the Youth Group Bulletin Board or
contact Penny & Mike Shuler or Pastor Steve. |
YOUTH
GROUP will
travel to summer event ...
Some
of Parkview's youth will be attending the 2008 UCC's National Youth
Event on July 24-28. Over 2,000 youth from around the country will
travel to the University of Tenn in Knoxville. Learn
