Lynn Wohler is our Pianist.

Lynn started taking piano lessons at the age of 7. By the age of 9 he was playing the organ once a month at a Methodist Church. For a couple of years during college, he was the organist for Protestant services at Morris Hill Chapel in Ft. Riley, Kansas. Lynn has a BM and a MM in theory and composition. While in college, he accompanied many students in their recitals. He has played piano in many different venues, as a solo club pianist, various small bands, and big bands. When the grand piano was purchased at Parkview, Karen talked him into playing along with the hymns. Lynn has been the worship musician since 2009. "I am thrilled to be playing the piano at Parkview for the weekly services," he said. "The congregation is so supportive. In addition, they are a very special group of warm and caring individuals." Lynn is married to Pamela, and has one son, Greg.

Walt Lofstrom is our Commissioned Song-CAMP Minister.

Walt began at Parkview in 2005 as an In-Care student, attending night classes at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver. He received a Master of Arts in Specialized Ministry one year after retirement from his 38-year engineering career, and was commissioned to a Specialized Music Ministry in the Metropolitan Denver Association of the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Church of Christ (March 22, 2009) as Director of Song-CAMP. Recording Singer-Songwriter Walt and his Singer-Songwriter music partner and friend Mary Morrissey began their special children's after-school program in the Fall of 2007 at Parkview (now called “Song-CAMP – Creative Arts Mentoring Project”) as an experiment in working with children to inspire creativity in writing, performing and recording their own songs – a way to give back to our neighborhood community who are experiencing a decimation of Music and the Arts programs in public education today.
