Lynn Wohler is
our Pianist.
Lynn started
taking piano lessons at the age of 7. By the age of 9 he was playing
the organ once a month at a Methodist Church. For a couple of years
during college, he was the organist for Protestant services at Morris
Hill Chapel in Ft. Riley, Kansas. The next 40 years were spent
playing piano only occasionally at different churches. He has played
piano in many different venues, as a solo club pianist, various small
bands, and big bands. He retired from the weekend scene in 1995. When
the grand piano was purchased at Parkview, Karen talked him into
playing more frequently. "I am thrilled and honored to be
playing the piano at Parkview for the weekly services," he said.
"The congregation is so supportive. In addition, they are a very
special group of warm and caring individuals." Lynn is Treasurer
of the John and Margaret Thomas Foundation.
